The 2nd Annual Mayors' Luncheon 2009
On Wednesday, November 25th Mayor Bill Bishop of the Town of Rothesay and Mayor Murray Driscoll of the Town of Quispamsis spoke at the KVCC's annual fall luncheon. The event provided a casual luncheon for the businessmen and women in the Valley. Both Members and Non-Members alike enjoyed an update from our Mayors. This year's topic of conversation was "The Valley - Ever Evolving".
Premier's Reception 2009
The KVCC hosted a reception for Premier Shawn Graham and over 60 of its Members on Monday, November 16th at the Amsterdam Inn in Quispamsis, NB. The Premier discussed the Sale of NB Power to Hydro Quebec. Mayor Bishop of Rothesay and Mayor Driscoll of Quispamsis attended this event as did several Ministers.

Announcement - New Officers & Council of the KVCC 2009
September 2009 - The Kennebecasis Valley Chamber of Commerce would like to announce the appointment of two new councillors: Gay Drescher, Director of Development Services for the Town of Rothesay and Angela Fiander, Account Manager with Bell Aliant. Congratulations and welcome!
September 2009 - The Kennebecasis Valley Chamber of Commerce would like to announce the resignation of three councillors: Jeff Miller, Doug Surette, and Brad Donnelly. We would like to thank them for there commitment and their service with the Chamber. We would also like to wish them well with their future endeavours.
April 2009 - The Kennebecasis Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted its AGM on Tuesday evening, April 28th. At that meeting a new President was sworn in - Mr. Phil Brodersen of Brodersen Realty. As well, Mr. Scott Cochrane of Jassco Enterprises was elected as the new Secretary/Treasurer of the Chamber. Both positions are two year terms. Mr. Brad Donnelly will continue to serve as Vice-President for the second year of his two year term. Other Councilors are Rick Demone, Past President of KV Family Shell, Kim Isnor of BMO, Cindy MacFarland of Home Loans Canada, Ian MacFarquhar of 604027 NB Inc., Edgar Young, Fundy Mutual Insurance, Theo Gagnon of Royal LePage, Jeff Miller of Aliant, and Gerry Maher of RBC Dominion Securities.
Special thanks are extended to Leslye McVicar of the Kennebecasis Public Library for the use of their facilities, Camille Bordage of The Grape D'Vine and Sean Boyd at the Red Whale Coffee Co. for their sponsorship at the Wine & Cheese reception, and Bob Black at Shadow Lawn Inn for the Gift Certificate for Dinner for Two.
Congratulations is extended to Doug Surrette of Mawhinney Real Estate for winning the door prize from Shadow Lawn Inn.
