Annual General Meeting
March 2010 - The Kennebecasis Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted its AGM on Wednesday evening, March 24th. At that meeting, President Phil Brodersen of Brodersen Realty was sworn in to serve the second year of a possible two-year term. Rick Demone of KV Family was elected to serve as Vice-President for his first year of a possible two-year term. To complete the Executive Committee, Scott Cochrane of Jassco Enterprises reoffered and was re-elected as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Chamber.
Other Councilors who reoffered to serve and were re-elected were: Kim Isnor of BMO, Cindy MacFarland of Home Loans Canada, Ian MacFarquhar of MCE & Associates, Angela Fiander of BellAliant, Gay Drescher of the Town of Rothesay and Gerry Maher of RBC Dominion Securities.
New members elected to the Council were Donna Williamson of Brands Beyond/Merle Norman, Jennifer Higgins of Higgins General Insurance, Camille Bordage of The Grape D'Vine, and Steve Dawes of Scotiabank.
President Phil Brodersen thanked both Edgar Young of Fundy Mutual Insurance and Theo Gagnon of Royal LePage for their support over the past years while serving on the KVCC Council as they did not reoffer for 2010-2011.
Special thanks were extended to the Town of Rothesay for the use of their facilities, Camille Bordage of The Grape D'Vine, Mary Jane Banks of the Town of Rothesay, Deputy Mayor Emil Olsen and Bill Artiss for their contribution to this successful event .
The Officers and Council of the KVCC would also like to extend "many thanks" to all of our members who were able to attend.
